Hosted at The Fox Hotel in Collingwood, it's a space to explore the cards together, share intuitive interpretations, and connect with others who are drawn to this practice.

There are no lectures, no experts, and no right answers. Just good food and drinks, interesting people, and a shared willingness to see what turns up.

Who is this for?

Tarot Salon is for you if...

• You've got a deck sitting on your shelf that you've never quite known what to do with — or one you use all the time, alone, and you've been wondering what it would feel like to share that practice with other people.

• You're curious about tarot but a little suspicious of the woo. Or you're deep in the woo and looking for your people.

• You're not looking to be taught — you're looking to explore. To pull a card, sit with it, say something that feels true, and hear what someone else sees.

• You're willing to go first. To be a beginner out loud. To trust your gut even when you don't quite know what you're talking about.

This isn't for you if you're looking for a professional reading, a structured course, or someone to tell you what the cards 'really' mean. There are no experts or teaching in this room.

What to expect

A 90-minute facilitated experience, followed by open hang time at the bar. The evening is structured into a few playful activities designed to get you exploring your cards quickly — no preparation required.

• Bring a deck if you have one. We'll have a few to share on the night if you don't.

• Come as you are. No prior knowledge needed.

• Expect to give as well as receive — this is peer-to-peer, so everyone reads with/for someone else.

These aren't here to be bossy. They're here because we've thought carefully about what makes a night like this actually work — and these are the conditions that protect the good stuff.

If you're a professional reader, you are so welcome here — bring your experience, your curiosity, your deck. But please leave your business cards at home. This is not a networking event for your practice. No promoting paid readings, services, or offerings during the evening. This space works because everyone is on equal footing.

This is a space of shared learning, not expertise.

Nobody here holds the definitive answer to what a card means — not even the hosts. We’re all figuring it out together. That means we hold our interpretations lightly, we don’t correct each other, and we don’t offer readings or insights to someone who hasn’t asked for them. Consent matters — always ask before you read for someone, and respect a no. Lead with curiosity, not authority.
