Jean Sergent is our resident Festival Tarot reader. Jean is an actor, writer, and hereditary witch from Te-Whanganui-a-Tara. She has been practicing magic since childhood. A descendant of Cornish Romanichal people, Jean's great-grandmother was the neighbourhood tea leaf reader in Naenae in the 1950s. Jean's witchcraft practice includes spellwork, ritual work, astrology, and tarot. She is compelled to communicate, and considers her three crafts - performing, writing, and witchcraft - to be parallel manifestations of that impulse.
Consults are 20 - 30mins for a 5-card spread. Pre-book your spot in advance or risk it and walk up on the day.
