Tas Whisky Week - Art of Whisky

Price $83 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

Get ready to swirl, sip and savour as we discuss the fine art of whisky-making and the complexities of visual arts inside the Hadley’s Art Prize gallery.

Dr. Amy Jackett (Curator of the Art Prize*) and MC Mark Nicholson (Distillery School and Tasmania’s foremost whisky intellectual) will moderate an expert panel of artists and distillers.

Hear some of this year’s Hadley's Art Prize finalists talk about their artwork, featuring:

  • Megan Walch
  • Wayne Brookes
  • Elizabeth Hunn (painter and distillery owner)

The distilleries are represented by the illustrious and passionate distillers, slash scientists, and storytellers:

Delve deep into two of life’s greatest pleasures and raise a glass to a spirited dialogue with your favourite artists and distillers while they discuss the processes, tribulations and time it takes to create their masterpieces.

They all have a story to tell – bound to leave you intrigued and connected to the art on the wall and the whisky in the glass.

Ticket price includes:
