Your host for the night is the extremely knowledgeable Ian Reid of Gold Bar.

Guests receive hot food on arrival and grazing boards as the distillers take you through why they use that particular barrel finish, be it, stout/apera/wine or port, what characters it imparts and what aromatics you nose and taste on the palate. Get up close to your favourite distillers and whisky!

For one week, every year, we get together and share our story and passion for whisky and spirits with people from around the world.

Celebrating the achievements and craft of Tasmanian distillers, Tasmanian Whisky Week is a celebration of the numerous Tasmanian distilleries, their spirits and whisky.

Seven days of events are held in the north, east and south of the state covering diverse and engaging consumer events, culminating in the flagship event, The Tasmanian Spirit Showcase.

Tasmania is the whisky destination of Australia, and Tasmanian Whisky Week is the event to celebrate.
