SALES CLOSED // Tashlich - HHD 2026/5787 at Emanuel Synagogue

Choose from three Tashlich options:

----
Sunday 13 September 2026

Communal - Eastern Suburbs Beach (from 11.00 am)

Join Rabbi Dr Orna Triguboff for a meaningful, meditative new year experience in nature. We will listen to the shofar, experience the power of new beginnings and throw our cares into the ocean for the tashlich ritual.

Communal - Centennial Park, Model Yacht Pond (from 1.30 pm)

Join Rabbi Kaiserblueth after services for the traditional Tashlich ceremony. Bring a picnic as we gather by the water to cast crumbs into the water, a symbolic act of letting go of the past and embracing the new year with hope and renewal.

Communal - Sir Joseph Banks' Park, Botany (from 2.00 pm)

Join Rabbi Zwarenstein and our community on the afternoon of Rosh Hashanah for the traditional Tashlich ceremony. Together, we will gather by the water to symbolically cast our sins away as we reflect, renew and welcome the new year.
