TasICT Gala Dinner

It's the Tasmanian ICT Industry's networking event of the year!

The TasICT Gala Dinner caps off the Tasmanian ICT Conference with a chance to relax and engage with peers, colleagues, clients, friends and other stakeholders in the local technology sector.

Our big annual evening begins with pre-dinner drinks in the C3 Convention Centre Atrium at 6.30pm, ahead of guests taking their seats for a 7.30pm start to the Gala Dinner. Olive Tree Catering have earned a reputation for serving up delicious meals prepared by expert chefs using fresh Tasmanian produce. The three course fare is accompanied by a selection of premium, lite and non-alcoholic beer as well as white, red and sparkling wines.

The focus is on networking, so the formal proceedings and speeches are kept to a minimum. Television and radio presenter, journalist and JackJumpers Media Manager Katelyn Davies will be our MC and introduce Martin Anderson for his last public address as TasICT President. Minister for Science & Technology Hon. Madeleine Ogilvie will also speak, and the winner of the 2023 Pearcey Tasmanian Entrepreneur of the Year will be announced. 

Each Gala Dinner guest will receive a full-colour Souvenir Programme to mark the event, which contains information on upcoming events, a message from the President, the Minister, a guide to the selection of drinks available and details of the entrees, main course meals and desserts being served.
