Tasmanian Junior Beekeepers January Session

This will be a regular session for Tasmanian Junior Beekeepers, all participants need to be registered members. (Membership available on the day). 

We will be learning some of the basics of beekeeping and the equipment used. 

Setting up the solar wax melter 

Wiring some frames for our experienced children

An apiary visit to check on our honey supers. 

All Children are required to bring

✅ Sturdy boots that cover ankles for the apiary. 
✅ Lunch and snacks (be mindful of children with but allergies). 
✅ Water bottle.

✅ Cool clothing if the weather is hot.

✅ Personal medication if required. 

We look forward to seeing our new and older beekeepers again.
