Tasmanian Produce Collective AGM
Event description
This year our AGM will be held in the Midlands as we bring together our community of food makers, growers and eaters from across the state to reflect on another year of Co-operation.
Come and hear from Alana Mann, a communications scholar, author, and part of the growing global advocacy network focused on creating a fairer and more sustainable food system. In 2023 she was featured in the Powerhouse Museum's 100 Climate Conversations for her research on food in a changing climate. We're excited to host her in conversation about how we tell the story of Tasmanian farmers who are putting planet first and bring people on a journey that changes their buying habits.
“I describe my field as food politics. As a communications scholar and unapologetic food activist, I am especially focused on whose voices are foregrounded in conversations, discourses, and debates about food.”
WHAT TO BRING?
