It features young Tasmanians from refugee and migrant backgrounds sharing their personal experiences of racism and its impact on mental health. The film and discussion will provide authentic perspectives on how racism affects young people's wellbeing and sense of belonging, offering valuable insights for mental health practitioners working with diverse communities.

Daven Ong - Equal Opportunity Tasmania will outline the legal and systemic frameworks for addressing racism. His presentation will explore how discrimination complaint processes and community education initiatives can contribute to better mental health outcomes for affected communities.
