Ticket information:

Single day tickets are available at the door and online!
Saturday passes: $25 on the day

Sunday passes: $20 on the day

Full weekend passes:

Adult: $40
Under 16: $30
Under 12: $15

Event

• ANY ATTENDEES UNDER 16 MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN UPON TICKET REDEMPTION AT THE DOOR. ANY UNDER 16 MAY NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY TO THE VENUE WITHOUT SUPERVISION.

• A pass or wristband is provided on entry to the event. Those without a pass, wristband, or proof of ticket purchase will be asked to leave the festival.

• Taspop is considered a PG event, thus, parental guidance is heavily recommended for any underage attendees.

• By attending TasPop North, you agree to the possibility of being filmed or photographed (including by unaffiliated photographers or other attendees). The results of which may be used in future promotional material related to TasPop. Identifiable faces in photographs will be blurred and children’s faces will be blurred in video.

• Harassment of any form is not tolerated – This includes but is not limited to verbal, physical, sexual, racial, or political harassment. This includes taking photos of cosplayers or attendees/vendors without their consent. Cosplay is not consent.

• No littering. Please be considerate of the venue and use a bin.

• No heckling or unnecessary shouting during events/performances.

• Have your phone turned off or on silent during events.

• No alcohol or illegal drugs are allowed into the festival. Any attendee believed to be inebriated will be asked to leave the festival area. Failure to do so may lead to the authorities being contacted.

• Smoking (including vapes or e-cigarettes) is banned inside the building or within 10m of open doors/air intake.

Safety

• Sitting in the theatre aisles at any time is not allowed; either find a seat or wait outside the theatre until one becomes available.

• Do not enter vendor allocated areas without explicit permission from the vendor themself.

• Keep out of any area marked as No Entry and respect Volunteer Only spaces.

Costumes

• Those wearing makeup or body paint should ensure it does not rub off on seats or on other guests. Attendees causing marks or stains from bodypaint/makeup may be liable for cleaning costs.

Live Steel/Costume Weaponry

• No live steel props or real weapons will be admitted into the venue. The committee and convention staff reserve the right to confiscate props/equipment deemed to be used in a dangerous/inappropriate or irresponsible manner.

• Projectile ammunition of any kind (including Nerf brand or toys) is not allowed and may be confiscated.

• Without exception, props or replicas that resemble firearms must include a bright orange or red tape fixed to the muzzle/barrel to signify it is fake. Failure to do so will result in the item being confiscated – Tape is available at the front desk for those who forget.

Receiving Prizes

• If you are a prize recipient (and do not receive it at the festival), please leave your contact information with a member of the TasPop Committee. You will have 60 days from the last day of the festival to claim your prize. This is extended to 90 days if the prize has not been supplied to TasPop. It is strongly suggested to contact TasPop (contact@taspop.org.au) if you do not receive your prize 14 days after the date of the event.

The TasPop Committee and Venue Security reserve the right to eject people from the venue if these rules are violated.

TasPop reserves the right to ban an individual from future TasPop events in extreme cases.
