Tassels & Tummies
Event description
Welcome to Tassels & Tummies: A Fat Burlesque — a show where fat bodies take up space, take the spotlight, and take your breath away.
The debut show produced by Honey B Mine Productions, this one-night-only event is a love letter to the full fat experience — the joy, the power, the rage, the grief, and the sheer sensual pleasure of existing in a body that refuses to shrink.
Featuring a local and interstate all-fat cast of burlesque performers, Tassels & Tummies serves up glittering glamour, cheeky striptease, and unapologetic body celebration. These artists will strut, shimmy, and seduce in acts that are funny, fierce, political, and deeply personal. Expect rhinestones, revelations, and a whole lot of delicious defiance.
This show isn’t about “body positivity.” It’s about fat liberation. It’s about taking the stage in every inch of our softness and saying: we are here, we are stunning, and we’re not asking for permission.
🌈 Produced, run and backed by and for fat folks — all bodies welcome in the audience
