Taste & See - October 2024

Have you ever wondered what Christianity is all about? Maybe you just like good food and interesting discussions? Or perhaps you know some things about the bible and the Christian God but aren't sure how it can be relevant to your life and situation today? 

Whatever your story and background, we'd love to invite those interested to a series of 4 dinner parties to 'Taste and See' what the Christian faith is all about. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join.

Running across 4 Friday evenings in October, each week will feature a different theme in food and discussion exploring four big ideas about God. There'll be a small piece of content around the theme to centre the conservation each week, but mostly lots of time around the table with friends to have fun, discuss with others and ask questions. 


The Details

Time:  Approximately 6.37 pm to 8.38 pm (why the random times - we asked someone randomly and this is what they said so we went with it🤣)

Cost: None - these dinners are free. Dinner, desserts and drinks will be provided, so please don't bring anything. For those interested, there'll be an opportunity to bring a plate to share in week 4 if desired (although we'll have food as well, so there is no need to do so unless you particularly wish to). 

Attire: whatever you're comfortable in (no need to dress up in any sort of theme)

For catering purposes please RSVP by 30 September 2024 via the booking link including any dietary requirements. 

Please note this is a four-week event and we ask participants to commit to coming along all four of the weeks if possible as discussions build off previous weeks (understanding life happens and this isn't always possible). Attending all four will help you make the most of these dinners plus create better discussions and more fun as you get to know others. During the booking, you'll see an option to select each date you can attend so if you know in advance and can let us know for catering that'd be wonderful.
