Come and connect with our culture & the future. This will be an educational & interactive fun day to remember. Perfect for the whole family, it’s a terrific & timely Mother’s day gift experience.
Explore the backyard tastes of native produce which have been enjoyed by First nations people for centuries. With a bush banquet of adventure, there will be many wonderfully Australian, wild ingredients to discover through participative food preparation which explores indigenous culture. Interact with the founder of local social enterprise - www.bushtobowl.com.au.
Learn what bush foods taste & look like, where/how they can be found & grown. All activities lead to the design of your own lunch tucker box. Take away a full pantry of ideas for simply delicious & nutritious ways to reproduce simple, tasty bush food at home. Further applications around each ingredient’s taste profile is also available for more experienced cooks/chefs.
All dietaries can be accommodated with a minimum of 3 days advance notice.
This event is suitable for all ages. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
