A Taste of Vietnam with Van Hoang
Event description
Get ready for a Vietnamese taste sensation! Hanoi expat Van Hoang will enlighten us about the productive Vietnamese garden before we discover the tropical vegetables and herbs growing here at the Farm. We'll harvest as we go, and then head to the kitchen to demonstrate how you can prepare a delicious and easy Vietnamese dish for everyone to taste.
At the end of this workshop you will :
- gain an insight into Vietnamese gardening methods and how it can be applied to your garden
- be introduced to the easy-to-grow tropical vegetables and herbs for Brisbane and learn their growing requirements
- know how to prepare some of the everyday Vietnamese meals using locally grown food from your garden or the Asian supermarket.
