Taste the Terroir @ Dilworth & Allain - 5 Howe st DAYLESFORD
Chris will be hosting a relaxed but structured tasting, which will focus on comparing different wines from the different soil profiles found in our local region. He will be accompanied by Barry Goldiy and Norman Latta. Barry is a local geologist and author of Six Peaks Speak, he will contribute with his expertise in the local geology and history of the Dja Dja Wurrung country. Norman will provide valuable insight into the winemaking and local area having worked in the industry for more than 40 years.
Dilworth & Allain Wines will provide the backbone for the tasting but we will also taste wines from Eastern Peake and Cobaw Ridge. The event will be seated and is limited to 30 tickets, focussing on the intricacies of winemaking and its farming along with the intriguing local history. An event for those who enjoy the finer details in wine and local history.
