Tasyouth SDA Volleyball Comp

In this competition, the emphasis is on enjoyment, social atmosphere and skill development, fellowship and FUN. 

Primary Purpose—FELLOWSHIP & OUTREACH

To encourage  young  people  of Tasmania to  grow  healthy  Christian relationships amongst each other, and to supply corporate opportunity for outreach. Please note, volleyball is simply the vehicle we are using to bring people together in fellowship. 

First and foremost, we want to encourage youth groups to register together, however for the sake of mission and outreach, players do not need to be attendees of a local SDA church. It must be noted that asking individuals to represent your church, simply on the grounds of building a competitive team so that you can win is not appropriate. Nor is it appropriate to call players interstate/internationally for the purpose of this SOCIAL.

Secondary Purpose—Mission Fundraising 

Any extra funds raised  from  this Tournament  will  go  towards  potential  mission trips, STORM Co’s and other projects involving Youth from Tasmania.

Team Divisions 

(minimum of 6 players on the field and a maximum of 8 players per team)

Mixed Opens (age 13+) - 10 teams

Ticket Fees

Fee ending June 19 07: $120/team

If your church is paying your registration please have your church Pastor email davidleo@adventist.org.au with their approval of this. 

Please select 'Invoice' as your payment option on the registration and then list your 'Church Name' under the 'Business Name' field in the invoice. 

Note that without church approval your team registration is not deemed finalised even if you select the 'Invoice' payment option upon registration.
