TAT Un-Conference
Event description
The art therapy un-conference is an accessible alternative approach to bringing together art therapists from across the field. The day will see a range of events taking place including, group discussions, presentations of community work, experiential groups and a space for art making and exhibiting (please get in touch if you would like to show art work and do bring some along on the day). We are also developing a publication to produce from the event and are taking contributions of both art work and written pieces.
Built in response to exclusionary factors of events across the psychotherapy field our model of the un-conference aims to produce the event collectively (including attendees) through a de-hierarchical approach, keeping accessibility at the forefront.
We want to keep the Un-conference flexible and creative, and it is continuously evolving so the full program details will be released closer to the event.
The day will run from 10 to 6 with lots of breaks and opportunities for chatting and connecting. You are welcome to join us for part or all of the day, or contribute even if you are unable to attend . We have also suggested that those who can not attend in person or are overseas could host their own online spaces to run alongside the day.
A reminder that we have no seed money for putting on this day and all work to get here has been done voluntarily so we greatly appreciate any contribution you can make to go towards resources and costs. If you can afford to please consider paying forward a ticket to support those on no or low incomes to attend.
The space is wheelchair accessible but if you have any-other accessibility needs please get in touch at:

We can't wait to see you all on the 1st!
