Back by popular demand - Waioneke School is delighted to host another Fundraising Trek, offering a rare opportunity to experience stunning, usually inaccessible private farmland in the Taupaki Area. You will adventure through private farmland, beautiful native bush, view waterfalls and spectacular views in Taupaki — all while supporting Waioneke School!
Event Details:
Location: Private farmland in Taupaki. Exact location will be sent before the event.
Routes: Self-guided 10km and 20km loop options. (CAN WE ADD MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE 2 LOOPS MAYBE?
Views: Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Auckland City and out towards ??? This is a truly unique opportunity you wont want to miss!
Choose the self guided option that suites you best - ride, walk run, mountain bike or take on the full weekend adventure with your horse.
Full Weekend Camping Option
Saturday & Sunday
For those wanting the full adventure!
Ride with us on Saturday’s 20 km loop, stay overnight, then continue the adventure on Sunday’s 10 km loop. Camping space, grazing, music and Saturdays Dinner and Sundays Breakfast provided.
Weekend option is for horses riders only.
Saturday Option
Saddle up for our 20 km Saturday loop, travelling through beautiful farmland and bush, with waterfalls and spectacular views along the way.
Saturday is horse riders only.
Sunday Option
Explore the beautiful Taupaki countryside on foot, by bike or on horseback.
Horse Riders: Horse riders can join us for the 10 km Sunday loop.
Walkers, Runners and Mountain Bikers: Choose either the 10 km or 20 km loop — or challenge yourself and complete both loops!
Important details for Riders: Please bring your own horse. this is a strictly walking-only pace for all horses and riders.
Important details for Runners, Walkers and Bike Riders: This is a self guided track, track distances are estimates.
Tickets and Refreshments:
Cold drinks and snacks will be available to purchase on the day. Please bring cash for these.
