FAQs

  • Which Option Should I Choose?

Want the full weekend adventure? → Overnight Horse Trek

Want to ride on Saturday? → Saturday 20 km Horse Ride

Want to ride on Sunday? → Sunday 10 km Horse Ride

Walking, running or mountain biking? → Choose Sunday 10 km, 20 km or both!

  • What food is provided with the overnight camp?

A BBQ dinner with salads and rolls will be provided on Sunday evening followed by ice cream for dessert. Monday morning breakfast will include cereals, milk, bacon and egg sandwiches. Tea coffee and milk will be provided.

  • Will riders, walkers and runners be on the same track?

Saturday is the 20km loop with only riders. If your horse does not do well riding with walkers, runners or bikers then we recommend you choose to come on Saturday.

Sunday is open to walkers, runners, bikers and riders therefore there will be more people on both the tracks. Riders will only be doing the 10km loop whereas everyone else has the option of completing either or both the tracks.

  • Is there an option that is less than 10km?

For walkers, runners and bikers you are more than welcome to go as far as you like on the loop and turn around if you do not want to complete the full loop.

  • Will this event go ahead in bad weather?

Yes, unless the decision is made that it is too unsafe to continue this event will be on rain, hail or shine.

  • Do I need my own horse?

We do not have horses available. You will need to bring your own horse to this event if you are riding.
