Join us on Saturday 10th December 2022 for a Diabetes Technology Event in Tauranga. This event is for anyone who would like to learn more about FreeStyle Libre (FGM), Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) and Insulin Pumps available in New Zealand.

Representatives will be joining us from; Mediray who will be talking about the Freestyle Libre, Intermed who will be talking about the latest Medtronic 770g/780g insulin pumps and Guardian 3 & 4 CGMs, NZMS Diabetes who will be talking about the t-Slim X2 insulin pump, the new control-IQ and Dexcom G6, Intuitive Therapeutics who will be talking about the Dana insulin pumps and a new CGM coming to NZ and Night Scout New Zealand will be joining us to talk about the DIY approach to diabetes technology and the work they do here in New Zealand.

You can stay for one speaker or all five speakers.

3pm Intuitive Therapeutics - DANA insulin pumps, by people with diabetes for people with diabetes approach to diabetes technology

3.45pm Nightscout NZ - A DIY approach to diabetes technology

Please note the Freestyle Libre, CGM’s and Dana insulin pump are not funded through Pharmac. Medtronic and t-slim X2 pumps are funded if you meet the Pharmac insulin pump funding criteria.

Light refreshments provided

This FREE event is being run together by Diabetes NZ Lakes/Bay of Plenty Youth and Tauranga Branch, please register each person attending for catering purposes and let us know if you are not able to attend on the day.

There is no disability access at this venue. Please contact Lena if you are unable to use the stairs.
