Tauriko Business Link - April 2026 Event - Meet, Greet and Connect as a local business community

Join us for the autumn edition of Tauriko Business Link where, no matter the weather, we've got a venue that encourages both conversation AND a little bit of something different at Tauriko's very own indoor golf venue!

Our Guest Speaker:

Vince Ford is an award-winning author with 16 novels for children and teens. He’s an international keynote speaker based in Whakamarama. He’s taken to the TEDx stage and last year, of 30 000 speakers that entered the Toastmasters World Championship of Public Speaking, he made the final 28, representing Tauranga at the Toastmasters World Conference in Philadelphia.

Tracks in the Sand: How Leaders Engage, Unite and Influence through Story is a unique keynote. It takes us on an epic journey through the Arabian desert - across salt pans and through sand dunes. It’s a trip filled with danger and discovery and it highlights the power leaders have to influence and inspire those that follow. Experience the desert. Discover the skills. Motivate your team to leave a mark that really matters.

We know the conversation will be fantastic as the last two events have been & there's loads to learn from each other - bring a friend and join us for great company. There's no need to be a golfing fan - you can have a go on a simulator OR just have a cold bevvy and a chat - whichever you fancy!⛳ 👏🍕🍹

About Tauriko Business Link

A local networking event for those business owners, owner operators and managing directors who are based in the fast growing, diverse and interesting business community that sits from Pyes Pa and wraps right through Tauriko to the Lower Kaimais.

We're growing fast and have so much more to go - why not connect, in person and grow strong, together?

Building on what's been working so well with our community who connect through LinkedIn Local Tauranga, now in it's third year, we're bringing the connection local to build a community of business owners in one of the most rapidly growing business ecosystems in New Zealand.

Hosted by locals to Pyes Pa, Jade Maddox (Bloom Co) and Alana Swain (Swain & Co) , we love living & doing business in this community, so we've joined forces to bring something different, something inclusive, something more connective to Tauriko - a space for interesting and engaging constructive conversation with the warmth of in-person connection from others who live & work in this awesome community.

Our aim is to connect & create our already brilliant community of local businesses into a network who can all grow together & support one another as we do so.

These low cost events are a great way to support another local venue or business, as well as give back - this event, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to Taumata School Whanau Ropu to aid with 2026 fundraising goals.

We're excited to meet you & hear more about how we can shape future events to support this business ecosystem to grow even stronger, together!
