Canberra Museum and Gallery sits at the heart of one of the most intact and architecturally significant mid-century precincts in Australia. Led by Senior Curator Virginia Rigney, we begin the tour looking at our new exhibition Canberra / Kamberri, Place & People, then explore the precinct to see how it was conceived to connect business, retail, community and leisure facilities within easy walking distance.
BYO hat, sunscreen, water bottle, comfortable shoes and meet in the CMAG foyer. The CMAG Café will be open from 12-4pm.
