Badlands and Black Maria Film Collective invite you to the West Australian Premiere of the new Australian feature film The Birthday Trip at Luna Leederville Cinema.

Called “one of the best Australian films of the year” by Cinema Australia, The Birthday Trip is an intricate and wryly funny new Australian drama in the vein of Joachim Trier and Noah Baumbach that follows three upwardly mobile millennial couples as they descend on a luxury farmstay to celebrate a joint thirtieth birthday.

With an esteemed ensemble cast including David Quirk (Rosehaven, Please Like Me) and Ben Gerrard (Wolf Creek 2, The Fall Guy) and featuring one of the biggest practical stunts in Aussie indie Cinema history, The Birthday Trip is a uniquely Australian film speaks loudly to the current moment.
