Join us on the evening of Friday, April 30, at the Sydney Cricket Ground’s Noble Dining Room for The Chappell Foundation’s 9th Annual Dinner.

Jeff ‘Thommo’ Thomson tormented opposition batters. Clive Lloyd and Geoffrey Boycott called him the fastest they’d encountered. He crushed Tony Greig’s foot, smashed David Lloyd’s protector and shattered the confidence of all who had the misfortune to face him. There was never anyone like Thommo.

The Chappell Foundation is delighted to announce that cricket’s likely lad has generously agreed to be our special guest for the 2026 annual Chappell Foundation dinner.

If you’ve been before, you will know this is cricket’s night of nights. If you’ve never attended, we’ll be waiting to greet you with a sunset drink out on the Sydney Cricket Ground before heading upstairs for a Merivale meal, a chat with Thommo and an opportunity to help us end the scourge of homelessness in Australia.
