The Community Plate: Gather & Grow Connecting People, Planting Change

Join us for a vibrant and collaborative morning as we launch The Community Plate Food Strategy and explore how we can grow a nourishing, fair, and more sustainable local food system—together.

This event invites together local food system champions and supporters across schools, community settings, urban agriculture projects and initiatives, Agroecology, farming, local producers, local government, food relief, social enterprise, business and more.

What to Expect:

  • Be Inspired! Hear from VicHealth and Sustain - leaders in food system innovation - and discover what is possible for our community.

  • Launch of The Community Plate Food Strategy

  • Explore Pathways for Involvement in up to three action groups:

    • Urban Agriculture in Schools

    • Urban Agriculture in Neighbourhoods & Community Settings

    • Innovative Social Enterprise & Sustainable Food Business Models

  • Networking & Relationship Building through collaborative activities
