Description

Join us for a special afternoon celebrating a year of community action, food sharing, connection and collaboration across The Community Plate network.

Whether you've been involved in one of our Action Groups, supported a Grow Free Cart, attended an event, partnered with a project, or are simply curious to learn more, you are warmly invited to join us as we celebrate the many great things we are growing together.

During the afternoon you'll enjoy:

  • Inspiring stories of grassroots action and community leadership from Serenity Hill: Co-founder of the Open Food Network and Food Systems Change Maker

  • A celebration of the Grow Free Cart Movement and recognition of local champions, cart makers and stewards

  • Opportunities to connect with passionate community members, partners and supporters

  • A look at what's been achieved through The Community Plate over the past year, and what's next

  • A delicious afternoon tea!

We will be celebrating achievements, sharing stories, and connecting with others who care about creating nourishing, connected and resilient communities.

Whether you're a long-time supporter or new to The Community Plate, we'd love you to come along and be part of the celebration.
