ARTIST CAMPS - THE CORRIDOR PROJECT
In addition to our 2023 Program we are offering six artist camps in 2023, ideally suited for creatives seeking propelled action to practice. The artist camps, are located in the dynamic landscapes of Central West NSW, adjacent to the beautiful Lachlan/Galari river on Wiradjuri country. This opportunity provides the perfect conditions for artists from diverse disciplines to explore, ideate, discuss practice and develop or produce new work.
- Two nights accommodation in beautifully adapted shearers quarters, with your own room equipped with heaters/fans and linen
- Relax with catered meals using superb regional produce from Friday dinner to Sunday lunch and gather around the fire, alongside a river or star speckled sky.
- Develop new work in a unique natural environment or converted shearing shed studio-space, surrounded by 150 acres of natural beauty, with direct access to Lachlan/Galari River
- Access to a range of equipment, tutors and guided walks around Wyangala Dam [upon request]
Conveniently located just 20 minutes from Cowra, 10 minutes from Wyangala Dam, 1.5 hours from Orange and Bathurst, 2hrs from Canberra and a mere 4 hours from Sydney, this opportunity provides the perfect reboot for professional or amateur artists.
$475.00 +GST per person, from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon [all meals provided]
