Mau Rākau is a traditional Māori martial art and this course will give you the opportunity to learn the ancestral practices, values and protocols of the warrior.

You'll learn about Māori culture and traditions, gain new skills and gain fitness and wellbeing through the mode of Mau Rākau (the Ancient Art of Māori Weaponry)

Have fun in an inclusive learning environment while you develop a specialised skill set, and help to preserve our rich culture.

Develop your knowledge, discipline and understanding with karakia, basic foot work, stances, positions and body movements and cementing foundations.

Duration - 7 weeks
