Wow lets do it all again, bring Te Anau alive with epic uke vibes. Kicking off with opening night at our local Fat Duck Restaurant with Folkinfusion and friends on Thursday, then limited seats for an epic heli-strum on top of a mountain, Lorenzo Vignando (aka) Ukulollo sharing his sound illustrated exclusive book launch -"Teki'' at the library, Concerts Friday and Saturday evenings, a variety of workshops all Saturday, something for all everyone including children (7-12 yr), a flash mob and cafe entertainment during lunchtimes Saturday. Kick off Sunday with a chillaxing kiwiana style breakfast, or do a free big strum with LX Ukes.  Closing up this 3 1/2 day event with a Hawaiian themed afternoon, starting at 12.00 pm with an Invitational Concert, showing off amazing uke bands, then onto Open Mic and a Grand Finale Jam Concert, finishing up 6.30 pm Sunday. Featuring the amazing Thin White Ukes from Melbourne Australia, Lorenzo Vignando from Italy and selection of amazing artists from all over New Zealand. Everything is optional, pick and choose what suits you. Just mention TUF to the locals and help us bring Te Anau alive.
The festival takes place in numerous wonderful locations in Te Anau.  Come and check out this amazing majestic destination, catch up with old friends and make new ones. Take some new uke material home with new unforgettable memorabies!
