Te Atatū Peninsula Team Up 2 Clean Up - Beach Clean - 4 May 2025(Sunday)
Event description
A beach clean day along Te Atatū Peninsula - Pixie Stream.
Meet at 10 am, 4 May, Sunday at Te Atatū Roosters Rugby League Club, 44 Titoki Street, Te Atatū Peninsula, Auckland.
All cleaning tools will be provided. (Bonus if you bring your own gum boots!)
Te Atatū Peninsula Team Up 2 Clean Up - Beach Clean is special run by Charlotte Mundell, Te Atatu Roosters Rugby League Club and Earth Action Trust.
This is a fantastic way to get out of that same-old-same-old routine, meet new people, exchange ideas to spark new ones, get light exercise and most of all make a difference to our community and environment.
Coming to the event please consider to:
- Check the weather forecast and wear appropriate gear. (Wear gum boots will be a bonus if you prefer to work in the marshy area).
- By registering for the event, you acknowledge that you are physically fit for outdoor work for 2 hours
- If you have allergies or medical conditions, carry any necessary medication and you should also inform the event lead if required
- Practice good hygiene and stay home if you’re sick.
- Children Under 16 - We welcome younger participants; please ensure they are accompanied by an adult for safety.
In case of extreme weather condition, you will be notified of the cancellation.
