About the Guided Ride

Distance – 2.7km return in total.

Terrain – Entirely on cycle paths, with some pedestrian crossings on main roads.

Elevation – Mostly flat.

Enjoy a relaxed guided ride through the green spaces of Tāmaki Makaurau.

This ride is designed for families with small children or grandparents with grandchildren. There is no minimum rider age – balance bikes are welcome! On last year’s Moonlight Ride, we saw lots of toddlers zooming along on their balance bikes.

Our destination will be the playground at Ōwairaka Park, where we’ll enjoy morning tea. Bring your favourite snacks and drinks. On the way back, we’ll stop at the Pump Track in Underwood Park.

We’ll ride at a comfortable pace to suit all riders, with regular regroup points along the way.
