Event description

Deeply Immersive Half-day Hauora Based Event.

Step into a welcoming, inclusive space to honour the season of Puaka Matariki through a rich blend of traditional and contemporary wellness practices.

Grounded in tikanga Māori and mātauranga, this wānaka (learning space) invites participants to reflect, reconnect, move, and restore. Guided by the wisdom of te iwa o Matariki (the nine stars of Matariki), each part of the day will align with the unique qualities of these whetū—offering pathways for reflection, remembrance, and nourishment.

Expect a nurturing atmosphere where Cacao, Breathwork, Sound, Movement and Mindfulness are thoughtfully woven together reflecting Indigenous knowledge systems. This experience is for all who seek a deeper connection to the rhythms of Te Taiao (the natural world) and the intrinsic connection to our Hauora through the sacred significance of the Matariki season.

This is an invitation to gather for whakatā wairua—a sacred pause—as we huritao (reflect) on the year that has passed and set intentions for the year ahead. Leave feeling grounded, uplifted, and more deeply connected to the wairua of Matariki, to a sense of self, connection, and renewed state of Hauora.
