TE KAWERAU Ā MAKI PRESENTS
Wed 2 July, 5.30pm - 9pm
The Hollywood, Avondale
Whau Pasifika Trust welcomes everyone from near and far for a very special evening!
We have invited West Auckland mana whenua, Te Kawerau ā Maki, to present their story, a presentation which traces their ancestral journey to Aotearoa, New Zealand.
Following any questions from the floor, we then have a special screening of:

Whau Pasifika Trust acknowledge Maori as indigenous peoples of Aotearoa and look forward to enhancing our knowledge and relationship with tangata whenua. 'Whau Pasifika Festival: Kotahitanga' is an emblem of connected, united, and informed communities and all communities are invited to hear about the whakapapā/genealogy of Te Kawerau ā Maki, West Auckland mana whenua. The iwi are currently building their marae in Te Henga, Bethells Beach.
