Join our waiata kaiako (teacher) Maria Oxnam from Te Mana Ha and co-facilitator Lisa Tui Jonathan, singer and songwriter from Otautahi, for these wananga (workshops). You can choose morning or afternoon (or join us for the three workshops!). These workshops are for anyone wanting to learn, practice, and enjoy their te reo Maori journey through waiata (both wahine and tane are welcome). 16 years +
Join the final performance on Sunday afternoon (with a minimum of two workshops attended) and show what you have learnt at this event.
Saturday workshop
- Morning session: 10:00-12:00 - Join waiting list
- Afternoon session: 13:00-15:00 - Songwriting + waiata
Sunday workshop
- Morning session: 10:00-12:00
Sunday Final performance: 15:00 - 17:00
