    Te Manawa is the pulse of Tāmaki

    E te whānau!! Nau mai ki Te Panapana, te whakatūwheratanga nui o Te Manawa!

    We are delighted to invite you to TE PANAPANA the much-anticipated launch of TE MANAWA – a mana motuhake movement by Māori artists, for Māori artists in Tāmaki Makaurau.

    Te Manawa’s role is to AMPLIFY Māori art, ACTIVATE Māori artists, and ADVOCATE for genuine transformational change. YOU are part of it. Come and celebrate, connect, and co-create!

    There will be artists at work on the evening, a panel discussion about the impact and future aspirations of Te Manawa, music, poetry, and laughter.

    Māori artists and creatives together can co-create the future directions of the Māori art sector in Tāmaki Makaurau.

    Arriving and access

    Corban Estate Arts Centre is a half an hour drive (outside of rush hour) from the Auckland CBD, and within easy walking distance of the Henderson township. The Corban Estate Arts Centre is also located on the western rail line. The entrance to Corban Estate Arts Cente is at the intersection of Great North Rd, Lincoln Rd, Swanson Rd, and Mt Lebanon Lane, in Henderson.
