This is an in person event and will be held at corner of Hamilton Street and Willow street, Tauranga on Thursday the 20th of November. Networking starts at 5.00pm
PMINZ are pleased to announce that our final PMI Bay of Plenty branch get-together for 2025 will take place on Thursday, 20 November at 5.00pm. Everyone is welcome to join us for this special evening, which will begin with a guided site tour of the Te Manawataki o Te Papa civic precinct redevelopment, followed by drinks and networking at the Barrel Room.
Project Details:
Te Manawataki o Te Papa – meaning “the heartbeat of Te Papa” – is a transformational redevelopment project in the heart of Tauranga city centre. The initiative aims to restore the cultural, social, and economic vitality of the city through a series of major projects that reflect partnership with mana whenua and sustainable urban design. Thanks to Tauranga City Council, the PMI community has been offered this exclusive opportunity to visit the site and gain valuable insights into the vision behind the project. It is a great chance to connect with fellow professionals and learn more about this inspiring redevelopment.

This will be presented by Chris Barton – Tauranga City Councils Infrastructure Major Projects Portfolio Director. Chris has over 15 years’ experience in delivery of major infrastructure capital works projects and programmes across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty.
