Mahurangi Land Restoration Programme - Te Muri Regional Park Planting Day
Event description
Whakatōnga ā Te Muri: Join the Mahurangi Land Restoration Programme for a fun day in nature at this idyllic location not currently open to private vehicles. Bring your whānau and friends to help plant some native trees and enjoy morning tea and a sausage sizzle together.
All planting equipment provided.
Bring:
- clean, sturdy footwear
- weather-appropriate clothing (event will go ahead unless torrential rain)
- a drink bottle
Transport to Te Muri Regional Park is by bus only.
- first bus leaves Puhoi Pioneers Memorial Park 9:00am
- second bus leaves 9:45am
- event begins with a karakia 10:15am
- first return bus leaves Te Muri 1:00pm
- second bus leaves 1:45pm
