Celebrating Matariki and refreshing our Hā practice.

Free wellbeing webinar for not-for profits

The final Ngahere refresher session, where Louise and Tuihana will introduce two new Hā moments, focused on Harikoa, the joy of our tinana/bodies. This session will weave in the celebration of Matariki as a time for reflection and rejuvenation. It will be an opportunity to think about what you have learnt through Ngahere, and maybe add a Matariki aspiration to make time to nurture yourself with six Hā moments each day in the year ahead.

-----------------------------------

Ngahere - was created by Centre for Social Impact associates Tuihana Ohia and Louise Marra to give people working in the not-for-profit sector some insights and tools to use to nurture and care for themselves and those around them. Our Ngahere follow-up sessions briefly review the principles behind the Six x One Challenge to take one-minute micropauses, Hā Moments, to ground yourself and reconnect to Papatūānuku throughout the day. Tuihana and Louise will introduce two new Hā Moment meditations to guide and nourish your Hā practice, each with its own whakatauki, pūmanawa and rongoa.

The title, Ngahere, is a kupu often associated with the forest in Aotearoa. It is also used to describe the hononga, connection, from us to Papatūānuku, Ranginui and the various atua. The workshop will provide insights into how connectivity enables wellbeing; how to build a greater sense of connection and draw nourishment from Papatūānuku; and how to bring this connectivity to our whānau, work, and community.
