Cancellation of 2023 Annual Te Pūkotahitanga Hui - 7 December 2023
It is with regret that Te Pūkotahitanga shares of the cancellation of the Inaugural National Wānanga “He whatumanawa ki tua" specifically tailored for Māori working in the Family Violence, and Sexual Violence sector that was to occur on 7 December 2023.
The government is currently in a caretaker phase as a new one is ushered in. Given the timeframe for new Ministerial appointments is still to be determined, this is the main consideration around not proceeding with a hui now as Te Pūkotahitanga intended.
Refunds are available for whānau who have pre-paid travel
If you have pre-purchased non-flexible airfares and/or non-refundable accommodation with the intention to attend the National Hui, please contact our Secretariat who will organise your refund with much aroha.
