Join the South Taranaki Discount Council library team as they share the local and cultural significance, as well as sustainability, woven into the exterior and interior design of the town's new heart - the Hāwera Library and iSite.
Te Ramanui o Ruapūtahanga boasts some outstanding sustainability features for a large scale commercial build:

Expandable roof mounted solar PV system.
Roof water capture for grey-water usage, repurposed milk vat for storage and swales for overflow.
