This course is open to all levels to knowing complete nothing to advanced. This course is designed for anyone wanting to learn Te Reo Māori, open to everybody. Māori, non-Māori everybody is welcome.

Here at Manaaki Reo we believe there are no levels in Te Reo we all learn together and suit each persons learning to their needs, basic or advanced, with little or no understanding.

This course will cover a range of areas from;

Mihimihi- where you are from

Karakia - prayer

AEIOU - Māori alphabet

Basic greetings and protocols

Pronunciation

A/O category

Develop conversational skills

Develop reading and retelling stories

Develop oral communication 

Writing short stories 

Extension on customs and protocols 

This is a classroom based course starting 18th May 2022 Wednesday nights, 6:30-8:00pm and finishing Wednesday 6th July 2022.

Our Te Reo Māori language course will re-connect you back to your culture in a safe and judgment free environment. Learning and sharing from starting your Te reo journey to extending your level of knowledge, come join the whānau.
