Te Tīmatanga Kōrero
Event description
Join Auckland Pride for an engaging morning with our two incredible artists—Neke Moa and Louie Zalk-Neale—in a unique activation and artist talk as part of the 2025 Te Tīmatanga Residency.
From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Sunday, 2 February, come along and spend time with these two curious story-tellers and makers as they share insights into their practices, exploring the fertility of pūrākau Māori, adornment practice, and identity.
This activation is an opportunity for you to be introduced to taonga, connect with artists, ask questions, and gain a deeper understanding of Mana Tipua Tuku Iho. We welcome you to reflect on the transfiguration you experience when honouring Te Taiao and Ngā Atua in your own life. And, feel affirmed in the revealing of whakapapa, and the power to transform alongside your community.
To experience Mana Tipua Tuku Iho throughout the Auckland Pride Festival, join Executive Director Hāmiora Bailey at Season Gallery from February 02 - February 08.
