A new Incorporated Societies Act has been passed into law. This law will affect all sports clubs and community groups who are currently incorporated societies.
This workshop will outline the changes relevant to your organisation and give you an opportunity to ask questions on what you need to do next to retain your Incorporated Society status.
The workshop is delivered by Community Law and free to attended for any groups from the Waitai Community Board area (the East of Ōtautahi).
- The workshop will be held in the Waitai Community Board Rooms on the corner of Beresford and Union Streets in New Brighton. Entrance is through the big automatic doors on the Union side of the building, opposite Point Break Cafe.
- A light lunch will be provide afterwards and an opportunity to stay on, ask further questions and network.
- Parking is available just on the right of Beresford Street just before you hit Union Street if you are heading towards the sea (former building numbers 57 & 53 Beresford Street on google maps).
