Te Tōangaroa Pink Ribbon Breakfast
Event description
We're hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast here at Te Tōangaroa to support the nine people diagnosed with breast cancer each day in Aotearoa New Zealand – most of them women, but it can affect men too.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime, and 650 women in Aotearoa lose their lives to the disease every year.
That’s why we’ve come together to host a Pink Ribbon Breakfast – to help change that.
Every donation goes toward life-saving education, life-changing patient support, and ground-breaking medical research.
Join us for good food, warm kōrero, and a cause that affects all of us – no matter who we are.
Let’s turn the morning pink.
*Please note: This event is open to wāhine and tāne.
