Te Whare Tapa Whā with Ellen, The ReCreator's Green Space, Wednesday, 17 September, 10am - 12pm
Event description
Te Whare Tapa Whā & Creative Upcycling With Ellen
Come and learn about Te Whare Tapa Whā - a Māori health model based on the four pillars of wellbeing: whānau (family), tinana (physical), hinengaro (mental), and wairua (spiritual) health.
Ellen will guide the discussion and share upcycling crafts that show how being a para kore (zero waste) creative, along with our intergenerational classes, connects to Te Whare Tapa Whā.
This is a chance to explore wellbeing through a cultural lens while getting inspired to make and create in ways that care for our environment.
Where: The ReCreator's Green Space, 135 Chamberlain Road, Massey
When: Wednesday, 10 September, 10am - 12pm
