The Way She Moves

Fringes, Opening Collection by Zoe Langley
Featuring Anthurium

The Way She Moves is a collection centred on the evolving role of workwear within our current social climate. It examines how function, fit, and perception shift through time, material, and lived experience, questioning what it means to be “dressed for work” today.

Traditional markers of workwear such as the double-knee denim trouser or the structured power suit no longer define labour or professionalism. Contemporary life demands garments capable of navigating opposing conditions: productivity and rest, mobility and stability, public presentation and private comfort. Work now extends beyond a fixed place or uniform, existing instead across studios, offices, homes, transit spaces, and social environments.

This collection responds to that instability. Garments are designed to move between work and leisure, formality and ease, adapting alongside the wearer as roles shift throughout the day. Through considered construction, durable materials, and fluid silhouettes, The Way She Moves explores clothing as an active participant in daily life rather than a static expression of identity.

Opening Collection - Zoe Langley

This collection is a romantic take on historic silhouettes with a strong sense of femininity and power. This explores androgyny, sexuality, and the power dynamics these concepts inherently imply. Textiles have elements of worn workwear, suggesting the labour, strain, and care that make everything worth it. Beneath this tougher layer, is an underlying feeling of remembering - of holding on to what has passed. Each look has been personally crafted slowly in Aotearoa, with careful consideration of sustainability. There is imperfection and memory of past experiences, heavily masked with the perfection we perform for each other every day.

Fringes Garments

Fringes Garments is a New Zealand fashion label exploring the tension between structure and movement, strength and restraint. Founded by Finn Mora-Hill, the brand approaches clothing as both armour and instrument, something that shapes the body while responding to it.

Working through structured silhouettes, considered construction, and durable materials, Fringes Garments reinterprets workwear as a reflection of the social and economic climate in which it exists. Each collection examines how clothing carries meaning: how it signals labour, ambition, resilience, and presence.

At its core, Fringes Garments is concerned with perception and how garments shift depending on context, time, and the way she moves within them.

Anthurium Jewellery

Anthurium Jewellery is an avant-garde adornment brand born from the urge to transform. Rooted in performance art, designer Chloe Giles explores adornment as an extension of the self, investigating layers of perception, identity, and personal myth.

“Committed to bold, dramatic design, I create pieces that transport the wearer beyond the expected.”
Chloe Giles, Designer

Characterised by hard lines softened through elegant silhouettes, Anthurium is recognised for sculptural chain garments and whimsical headpieces that blur the boundary between jewellery and identity.

Adornment becomes ritual. Dressing becomes intention.

This collection: Where the Hand Falls, Anthurium designer Chloe Giles turns toward the raw, organic nature of making and the labour required to produce something truly singular.

Through gestural mark-making and the female body as a symbol of the creator, the collection strips jewellery back to its essential language: hand, movement, trace.

Each mark is deliberate, each irregularity a quiet self-portrait of the maker embedded within the work.
