Dearest Gentle Reader,

In a time of recession, it is said that one makes junk of what another calls treasure. And yet, in the most curious turn of events, it appears that scraps… those forgotten ribbons, discarded trinkets, and orphaned buttons.... have begun staging a most fashionable uprising.

Where others see excess , our dear designers see abundance. Where some lament scarcity, they gather delicacies of detail …

For what is luxury, if not attention? What is craftsmanship, if not care?

“A lot of littles is a lottle” by Sherbet Lemon & Stang reminds us that grandeur need not roar. it may giggle, shimmer, and fasten with a tiny clasp. In a season of tightening belts and tempered expectations, femininity refuses to shrink. Instead, it multiplies , layer upon darling layer.

And should you find yourself dismissing the miniature, the delicate, the darling take care.

For in this society, it is the smallest details that hold the most power.

What a political climate we live in…

Yours in keen observation,

Laylah Aroha & Stang
