Te Wiki Āhua o Aotearoa - Life Cycle Of A Butterfly
Event description
Join us from September 9th to 13th for Te Wiki Āhua o Aotearoa, an inspiring new week dedicated to celebrating and elevating New Zealand’s emerging and early career artists. Hosted at Raynham Park, 145 Karangahape Road, this event steps in to fill the void left by the cancellation of New Zealand Fashion Week, providing a dynamic platform for showcasing the diverse and talented individuals driving our creative scene.
In a time when large corporations are hesitant to take risks and social unrest is at the forefront, this week stands as a beacon of resilience and unity. Our aim is to support and promote independent creatives from all artistic fields, including fashion, photography, music, dance, and more. Through Te Wiki Āhua o Aotearoa, we are committed to offering a stage for innovation and expression that transcends the ordinary. As our community faces significant challenges, we are coming together to ensure that the spirit of creativity remains strong and visible. This event is not just a celebration of art; it’s a powerful statement of solidarity and a testament to the strength of our creative collective. Additionally, this week is dedicated to a greater cause. All profit from the event will be donated to Gaza for the Palestinian people, underscoring our commitment to global solidarity and support. Be part of this momentous week at Raynham Park and experience the exceptional work of New Zealand’s emerging artists. Your support will help us make Te Wiki Āhua o Aotearoa a defining event of the decade, showcasing the resilience and unity of our creative community in the face of adversity.
