For the first edition of Tea After Dark, Fresno Film Society presents Richard Linklater’s Before Sunrise (1995) — a film about two strangers, one unexpected night, and the conversations that happen when there’s nowhere else you need to be.

THE FILM

Jesse and Céline meet by chance on a train through Europe. With only one night before Jesse has to leave, they step off together in Vienna and spend the hours walking, talking, flirting, and getting to know one another.
Simple in premise and intimate in scale, Before Sunrise has become one of the defining films about connection, timing, and the strange possibility of meeting someone at exactly the right moment.

Tea After Dark is a new screening series from Fresno Film Society at Isla Tea Lounge.
Each night pairs a carefully selected film with the atmosphere of Isla — drinks, conversation, and a shared evening at the movies outside of a traditional theater.

- What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 7:00 AM, and the film begins at 7:30 PM. We recommend arriving early to order drinks and find a seat.

- Is seating assigned?
No. Seating is first come, first served.
- Are drinks included with my ticket?
No. Your ticket covers admission to the screening. Drinks and other Isla Tea Lounge offerings will be available for purchase separately.
