The 2026 Mungindi Teach the Teacher will be the afternoon of Monday 18th May.

We will have a bus picking up participants at the Mungindi Central School @ 3:05 and St Joseph’s Primary School at 3:10 pm.

A short dive on the bus will take you to a cotton field where you will play in the crop and hear about the farming system and ask all your curly questions.

It’s a relaxed afternoon of drinks, nibbies and chatter as Cotton Australia connects the school community with local growers.

You will then have a quick tour of Mungindi Ginning and then choose to leave on the first bus back to your pick-up point around 5:30pm/6:30pm or hopefully be able to join us for a BBQ with the growers and head back to town around 6:30pm/7:00pm.
